Schools and accommodation in Lagos

Hi Suganya, there are many international schools in Lagos to choose from as an expat. Most of these follow British, American or International Baccalaureate standards, and most expats send their kids to international schools, rather than public schools in Nigeria, which are well below par when compared to international standards. These schools come at a premium and fees are quite expensive, so it would definitely be something you would have to budget for. 

Accommodation is another huge expense in Lagos. If a housing stipulation has not been included in your contract be wary, this is standard practice and you should certainly demand your company support you in some way.
