I'm thinking of looking for work in Africa. I'm an engineer and I've heard there are lots of opportunities in Zambia for expats. Is this true? What's the working environment like? Is it easy to find well-paid work in Zambia?

Hi Phil, highly skilled foreigners in the mining and engineering sectors are likely to find good work opportunities in Zambia. Although the government has been trying to stem the inflow of foreigners in favour of job for Zambians, there are still options for expats considering moving there. Expat packages are still quite competitive and as an engineer, you're likely to come across some good jobs. If you's like to learn more about finding a job and the working environment there, I suggest you have a look at our page on Working in Zambia.
