What can I do if my degree is not fully recognized in Oman? Is there still a chance I could find a job in my field?

i am Diploma in Automobile candidate. but now i am in working in civil/structural field. (9 years exp.)

I appiled a job in Oman for civil/structural Autocad detailer. thay are telling we can't get visa for civil detailer for Automobile diploma.

What can I do if I have the experience but my degree is not being recoginised?
