Being a former colony, I'd imagine that it is easier to find English schools there than in some other places, but are my options going to be limited to international schools?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Phil
As Bradley rightly says, the standard of education in Singapore is good and there shouldn't be as many issues adapting as there may be in other Asian countries.
We have a free, downloadable Singapore Schools Guide which gives a comprehensive view of education in the city state, as well as what to expect as an expat parent.
Hope this helps too.
Good luck!
Xavier
You should be able to find all the information you need on our Education and Schools in Singapore page.
Singapore has a high standard of education, with a wide variety of publuic, private and international schools. English is widely spoken in the city-state, so language barriers should not be an issue. I suggest consulting our International Schools in Singapore database for a comprehensive list of international schools in the region.
All the best for your new life in Singapore!
Regards,
Bradley
