Hello. I'm a 50-year-old outgoing Irish lady whose children have grown up. I've been considering taking up a Nurse Managers position in Abu Dhabi in a private hospital. Conditions not finalised. One of the reasons I would go is the salary. Living in Ireland with low salaries is now too difficult. I'd be going alone but a bit apprehensive. I understand the company would give me accommodation for a month. I see it's very expensive. Where does one start to look? Can you make friends easily? Are the high temperatures so unbearable for us Irish? What should I look at to make my decision easier? I have a home in Ireland with a mortage - can I transfer funds to this account without implications? I'd appreciate any help or advice so much.
Thank you
Paula
