Is Abu Dhabi good for moving with kids 18 and 15 years old?

Abu Dhabi is a popular expat destination and is well equipped to cater for the needs of expats with children. There are for instance lots of international schools to take care of their learning. You can take a look at the Education and Schools in Abu Dhabi page for more information.

There are also plenty of activities to keep your children entertained in their freetime. Obviously, you will have to deal with some elements of culture shock but most people adjust quite easily.

We came out a year ago with our 16 year old son and were a little unsure that we were doing the right thing. My son loves it! He has had so many opportunities to try new things - plays cricket in the grounds of Emirates palace,parcour on the corniche,paddle boarding ,dragon boat racing to name a few. If your kids are willing to give it a go don't hesitate they will have a great time.
