Can I leave Oman without an employment card?

Do I need to have my employment card with me to leave Oman? My employer hasn't issued the card and I need to go out of the country.

I have an employment visa and my employment card is in the process but I have to leave right away due to an emergency at home.

Hi Imran,

How did you enter the country? What type of visa do you hold?

There is nothing to say you can't leave the country without permission from you employer. It is only when you want to swap jobs that you need a No Objection Cerification (NOC) from your employer.
