I am a student looking to go study and work in Dubai at the same time. I will be 17 years old when I arrive in college. I heard that a work permit is only issued to people above 18 years of age. My question is, whether I can complete my first year of college on a student visa without working and then get a work permit for the following years? If I can, then what is the procedure? I would really appreciate it if this question is answered.
