Hi Sbonelo!

The best way to move to Dubai would be to find a job first. Luckily, engineering is one of the top careers in the UAE. The easiest route would be to contact a recruiter who works with expats moving to Dubai specifically. Recruiters often have great contacts and will know of a variety of available jobs. Alternatively, you could contact companies directly to see if they have any vacancies. For a chemical engineer, a company like the National Petroleum Construction Company could be a good fit, they even have a page for careers and vacancies.

Word of mouth could also be a good way of finding a job. Do you know any expats already living in Dubai? Don't be afraid of using your contacts!

You can also have a look at our guide on Working in Dubai for a sense of how things work over there.

Hope this helps, and good luck with the job search!
