How long does it take to find out if your work permit has been granted for Spain?

Hi everyone. Please, if you have experience with the application process for a work permit for Spain, through a company that is hiring you, I would kindly like to know how long it takes for the Spanish authorities to send the granted letter? I was told that it would take 4 weeks for that, but it's already been 8 weeks and no answer yet. The company ANTARES that is giving us all the support, told me that the authorization was probably already granted, and this may just be a huge delay in sending the answer letter. They also told me that if it was rejected, the answer would come before the deadline. Any information about your own previous experience would help me. Thank you.
