Must teachers be a native of the USA or any English-speaking country to teach English in South Korea?

Hi Gaurvi.Malhotra

To teach English in South Korea, teachers are normally required to be a citizen of an English-speaking country, like the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa. You will also likely need a Bachelor's degree or diploma. While this is normally the case, many countries accept English teachers from all over the world. Have you checked out the official International TEFL Academy website or done any networking for some insights?
