I've been thinking about planning a trip to Seoul sometime in the future and wanted to get some advice from those who've been there. How many days do you think are sufficient to get a good feel of the city and its attractions? I don't want to rush through everything but also don't have unlimited time.
Also, I'm interested in private tours and tour guides. Are they worth it? Any recommendations or experiences with tour guides who can provide an in-depth exploration of the city would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and tips on exploring Seoul!

A trip of 5-7 days is generally a good starting point to explore Seoul at a moderate pace. This will give you time to visit major attractions, sample local cuisine, and experience the culture without feeling too rushed. However, if you have more time, you can delve deeper into the city's offerings.
Thanks for the input! I appreciate your advice on spending 5-7 days in Seoul. That seems like a balanced approach to get a taste of the city without rushing things. It's good to know I can dig deeper into the city's offerings if I have extra time. If you have any recommendations for specific places or activities, feel free to share. Can't wait to explore Seoul!
I'm glad the suggested timeframe works for you. Seoul has so much to offer, and with 5-7 days, you'll get to explore a good chunk of it.

I also noticed they have tour guides in Seoul. I know you asked that above so maybe that would also help.
One more thing, don't leave without trying some authentic Korean BBQ. There are numerous restaurants throughout the city, but Myeongdong and Gangnam have some great options
I hope these suggestions help you make the most of your trip to Seoul. Enjoy and safe travels!
Thank you so much for taking so much time in suggesting an itinerary for me! I will definitely look into this, thank you once again! :)
ok bro.thanks so much
I spent 10 days in Seoul. It was the perfect amount of time for us. It allowed us to see everything we wanted to see (with time for a couple of day tours outside the city) and take our time with it all, which is more of our travel style. We pick an main activity or destination for the first half, lunch, then maybe another activity for the second half, then dinner. I’ve done big tours where they shuttle you around all day long and I’m much more of a leisurely traveler.
Sometimes we did things separately if one of us were tired. But by the end of the trip, we were able to go back to a couple of our favorite places, we got really familiar with the transit system and frankly, I was starting to get tired of the same street food around our hotel.
