Hi... I have a young daughter who has been offered full time work in Aberdeen.

She will be renting and would like to know what areas are safe and have good public transport.

Have a look at the Inverurie area of Aberdeenshire. There is a good link to the city from the train station and regular buses from Inverurie to Aberdeen. It is a safe area but can be quite rural so a car is a must.

Inverurie has also seen recent development and as a town has all that a family needs including some good schools and new housing developments.

The new bypass (once it fully opens in 2019) will also give you good links out of Aberdeen.

-    I have a tier 4 visa, could I put my kids in the state schools or I should send them to a private one?

-    Is there a state nursery in Aberdeen?

-    What is the safest place for a small family (2 kids + parents)?
