Can you download kindle ebooks easily in Saudi Arabia? Also, do you have to pay much custom duty to take a Kindle in to the country? Thanks.

Hi
You can download from Kindle no problem - tax will apply based on the address the credit card you use is registered.

I have a Sony E Reader. There are several well known online bookstores that I use where the books simply don't download in Jeddah. They stay in my shoppping basket and I can usually retrieve them when I am outside of the country. No-one seems to be able to explain this.

Just download and install SecurityKISS software to use it as a temporary VPN.
Select the US VPN service and that website will think that you are in the US.
Thanks
