Hi enjoli82,

Most expats who move to Abu Dhabi already have a job in place. It is really best to secure a job before moving to the emirate.

The best sources for job opportunities in Abu Dhabi are online portals as well as local newspapers such as the Gulf News and Khajeel Times which you can also view online.

It is important to be a realistic when looking for jobs in the UAE. Remember that while the government recognise the important contributions made by the expat workforce. They are not activley implementing a process of Emiratisation, whereby they will prioratise job applications made by Emiratis over those of foreigners.

Before accepting any job offer in Abu Dhabi make sure you are happy with the salary and working conditions as it is now quite difficult to swap jobs.

For more information and resources have a read of the Expat Arrival's page on Working in Abu Dhabi.

Good luck with the job hunt.
