Looking to rent an apartment in Beijing for the short-term as I'm going there for work for six months. What's the best way to find an apartment to rent in Beijing. What are the best areas to stay as an expat in Beijing?

Hi Wallace 1:If you can not speak chinese.i advice you to contact agent.it is convenient to you. Beijing is a big city.The transport is very crow at peak time.you can chose to live neat railway.The transport is very convenient. 2:i must remind you.you can not log in facebook.twitter.Youtube and other foreigner websites.So if you wanna access to them.You should download server proxy.Many of my foreigner friends are uuseing Flyvpn.You can free trail it.Flyvpn.com is convenient and simpe download.Hope you have a nice experience in china.

Apartment in Taiyanggongyuan compound (Taiyanggong beijie,1 ) Situated near Shaoyaoju subway station line 10 and line 13 (10 min by walk) and 15 min by foot to UIBE ( University of International Business and Economics). I'm moving to the other apartment right now, so I need to find people to leave in my apartment. Situated on the 31st floor in a very beautiful and secure Compound. Inside is neat and modern architecture, greenery, garden and landscape park, waterfall, Park for jogging and a little promenade. You can find also gym, shop, laundry, underground parking. Just look for the compound you like and then try to talk to the agency in the area. Also, if an agency showed you a place you are NOT legally required to rent via them. Just contact the landlord directly and sign a contract. It will be cheaper because he saves the agency fee.
