Getting a job in the IT sector in Qatar

There should be lots of opportunities in the IT sector for expats with lots of work experience. However, in recent years it has become more and more difficult to get a job in Qatar.

Recruitment agencies are scarce in Qatar as most people are transferred abroad to Qatar . However, you should definitley check the job listings in the Gulf Times and Peninsula newspapers. 

Before you can obtain a work permit for Qatar you need an employer sponsor. However, I wouldn't rush into accepting the first job offer that comes along. Once you've accepted an offer from an employer in Qatar it is very difficult to move around.
