What's the school system like in Denmark? Trying to decide if it's worth sending my kids to a local school or an international school in Denmark? Are there even international schools there?

Hi Phil - the Danish education system is excellent. However, as most schools teach in Danish, this is generally not an option for expat kids - unless they are realy young, in which case they may pick up the language fairly quickly. There are a growing number of international schools in Denmark, largely concentrated in Copenhagen. The majority of these teach in English, and others offer tuition in French or German.
I suggest you have a read of our page on Education and Schools in Denmark to find out more about this - this page gives a good overview of education in Denmark and should help you decide whether you want to try the Danish system or stick to a more international curriculum.

It provides a cursory overview and does not help at all with deciding whether or not I want to try the Danish system or stick to a more international curriculum. I'm quite disappointed.
