Hi,
Few questions which are numbered for ease of response. I have a job offer on the table in Abu Dhabi. Just running through the usual decision making issues. Can anyone help. Im English coming to work there for the 1st time.
1) is 485,000 Dirham PA a good salary? (approx. $11k or £7k per month) I will also be getting an allowance for car and apartment.
2) I have a GF, no kids, who would at first just visit for blocks of time. Which areas of the City (for renting an apartment) are most tolerant and accepting of non married couples (assuming I respect normal etiquette in public etc). (i.e., neighbours won't be offended by it and call police?)
3) I will be working in the Al Etihad area of the city, any issues to consider will commutes?
4) What can I expect to pay for a 2 bed apartment (in the right part of town) with good facilities (pool, gym, access to beach/park)
Thanks everyone in advance
