Toddler play groups in Cape Town?

Hi Claire, there are some great groups in Cape Town that cater for moms and toddlers, so it all depends on what you're looking for. 

Where in the city will you be living?

Moms and Tots is a great group that caters for little ones and offers programs for toddlers to promote basic developmental and social skills. There are lots of groups in the city, and they're usually run from a mom's home, so you should be able to find one close to you. It's also a great way to meet other moms. I recently did moms and tots with my two-year old twins and we all loved it.

Other options include Toptots, Wriggle and Rhyme, Kindermusiek and Jump Start - these all offer similar programs to moms and tots, and again there are different groups across the city.

Many churches and baby clinics also have lovely free mom and kiddie groups and get togethers on a regular basis, which provide a great social opportunity to meet other moms, and relax with a cup of tea, while the kiddies get to play. I used to go to a lovely group at Christ Church in Kenilworth, and there are plenty more similar groups in the area.
