Hi there, We've had another mass shooting here in the US, this time at a facility for the developmentally disabled. I had been thinking for a while now of relocating to the UK with my 8-year-old daughter and I think it's time to start moving forward. I actually am a dual US/UK citizen--anyone out there have any thoughts about the difficulty of relocating? I moved to France for a year in the 90s, but I didn't have kids, was in my 20s--I imagine this time around would be a lot more challenging. Also, does anyone have any thoughts about the job market in the UK? I am a web developer. The US is going insane...everyone's worried about letting in the refugees into the US, but I think pretty soon WE'LL be the refugees. I really appreciate any thoughts/advice anyone may have! Thanks, Amanda

Hi Amanda. The British people are also worried about the migrant crisis. Just under one million came to Europe during the past year, with more expected to arrive. If Turkey is allowed to join the EU (which is madness!!) then the UK culture will start to change rapidly - hence why I am on this site as I don't feel I can live in a country where Islam will start to rapidly grow. Which means I may become a migrant myself soon!
