We have unfortunately gone through bankruptcy in our past and we were wondering if it will effect our credit in Canada or will we be given a new line of credit? Thanks

IF any of the credit was for companies in Canada, it will. Mostly though you will have new credit when arriving in Canada that will likely not encompass are reflect your credit history in another country.

Your current situation will affect the decision more - your salary, stability, current assets.
Getting mortgage will be most complicated form of credit.
But even if you get refused for credit in bank, you can still take one from private lenders companies. Tones of them. It will be just more expensive.
