Dear community,

I'm trying hard finding a small partly / furnished apartment for lease in the Oslo area from September 2018 but the housing market seems to be very challenging.

Are there any other websites beyond finn.no, hybel.no? Are there any real estate agents you would recommend? Are there any other local resources or organisations I could contact for support?

Thank you very much for your help and kind regards,

Stefan

Hi Stefan

Landlords in Oslo tend to prefer to meet people before doing business with them, so securing accommodation from abroad may be difficult unless you go through a service. Have a look at our guide for accommodation in Oslo for more information on what you can expect from the housing market once you arrive.

Have you decided which area of the city you would like to live in? If not, the Expat Arrivals guide to areas and suburbs in Oslo might also be useful to you.

Good luck!
