I really want to live in Sweden at least part time and eventually become a citizen with dual citizenship (USA). Does anyone have suggestions for how to accomplish that? My understanding is that a person must live in Sweden 5 years before becoming a citizen but how does one do that when one can only stay for 3 months with a US passport or 6 months maximum with a Schengen visa? I thought about calling the Swedish Embassy for advice but thought I would try this forum first. I already speak Swedish pretty well so that is no problem for me. Thanks for any insights and advice!!!
