I'm moving to Israel as part of an exchange programme with the university in Tel Aviv. I'm getting very confused about the visa process for Israel. Can someone please shed some light on this? I'm American.

Hi Smith, the process for getting a visa for Israel is not always that simple, but it all depends on what visa you'll be needing. As you're going to be studying in Tel Aviv, I would imagine you'd be needing an A2 student visa - have a look at our Visas for Israel page for all you need to know about getting a visa for studying in Israel. I suggest you apply well ahead of time as the bureaucratic delays are pretty common!
