I would recommend checking with the Emirates NBD bank as it offers personal loans at affordable rates. Plus their procedures and formalities are quick and hassle free.

Many banks require your employer to be on their Approved Company List; although a few such as Emirates NBD do not. Currently, the average interest rate on personal loans is 6.17% (flat rate) and the maximum repayment period is 48 months.

You can compare personal loans from approximately 30 UAE banks by clicking here.

You will typically require the following documents:
  1. Valid national ID (for Residents) or valid passport with valid Resident visa
  2. Recent utility bill in the name of the client e.g. electricity, telephone or rental contract
  3. Latest Salary/Income/Employment verification document
  4. Salary transfer letter
  5. Bank statement of 6 months
