How can I move to Germany to be with long lost Dad?

i am 23 years old and i work at mc donalds here in america and i make very little. my dad who i have never meet in person lives in germany he is full german and has never left. him and my mother met when my grandfather who was in the airforce was stationed in germany and my mom went to a public german school. well her and my dad met and fell in love and had me. well not long after mom had me her and my dad were torn apart by there parents and mom and me came back to the united states and my dad remained. that was 23 years ago neither of them had any way of contacting each other. and as i grew up i always dreamed about the day i would finnaly meet him. well one day on my 16th birthday i had a mysterious phone call in a language i knew not. well found out it was my dad. well not much later thanks to internet we began talking via email then much later in video chats thanks to yahoo. and now thanks to facebook i can talk to my dad and all my family every day. and i have grown to love every one of them but yet i have never met any of them. well i am 23 years old. i grew up having a rough life. and now i am ready to leave it all and start over in germany i plan to go and move in with my dad for awhile as we got 23 years of father son to catch up on. and i know a measely 3 month visitor visa will not be enough and i cant afford to make many trips to and from germany. i need to know exactly what i will need to do to be able to make the move to germany to finnaly spend some time with my dad it wont be permanent i will eventually come back home to america.
