My husband has been offered a job in China so the kids and i are planning to join him there. I plan to teach English while there and have searched online for TEFL courses. The reviews for most of the training providers are worrying, so i really would like to hear from someone who recently moved to China and actually used their TEFL certificate to get an English teaching job. I'm interested in knowing which provider they went with, if they do recommend them and better yet, if they were offered a legit internship (for those that promise one with their course).

Hi Tabibat
Are there any particular courses you are looking at the moment? From what I can gather the longer courses 150 hours plus are more highly regarded. Also look at the courses that are equivalent to a CELTA qualification.
This interview with an expat who taught English in China maybe an interesting read so take a look : h
