Guys We are already in Dubai for a while but recently moved to a new residence(rented)in a compound, the sales literature describes the area "luxury living in a serene and tranquil location for the discerning professional" Unfortunately it is nothing of the sort as the adjacent golf club has concerts and events outside on it's lawns every other weekend during the cool months ,sometimes 2 events in the weekend The events begin as early as 5pm in the afternoon and continue as late as 3 am in the morning, during which time it is impossible to sit out side and enjoy our garden or when inside sle

My actual status here in UK is a resident with tier 2 Visa ( Sponsored by my Company ). after almost 2 years spent here in UK, i would like to buy a property instead of keeping paying a rental charge which is huge and taking a mortgage from the bank which is already accepted. I am just wondering in case i have to lose my job, what will be my status then after..... Do i need to sell the property ?? as i believe i have 1 month to leave the country ?

Hi Fellas, We are a small family of four with two very young kids. Recently, there is a possible promotion opportunity in the same company where I am working in Perth. I have a few questions if someone of you will kindly share your experience about Auckland. - Cost of living (Considering 2 Adults + 2 young kids) - Good, affordable and non-nonsense suburb to live in. Also, If anyone from Perth is there in the forum, Please help sharing pros/cons in comparison to Perth (particularly cost of living wise). Cheers, ZN

Does anybody have any information on applying for South African permanent residence?

Hi, I am a British citizen that wants to apply for permanent residence in South Africa. I moved to South Africa in January 2009 with my partner who is a SA citizen (now wife). I obtained a life partner permit that was valid for three years in March 2009. We got married in January 2012 and I obtained a spousal permit that permitted me to reside in SA until 31st December 2014. I returned alone to the UK on the same day my permit expired. I am now trying to get a new spousal permit and also apply for permanent residence.

Hey! I am a single mom currently living in Washington State. After my daughter was born, I realized that the US does not truly value family time and is not conducive to being a single parent. As a single mom, spending time with my daughter is so important to me, but I find myself working non-stop to keep a roof over our head. I will be graduating with my Masters in Project Management and am currently a PM Consultant.

Hello, My partner and I will be moving to Valencia in August and are currently looking for a long term rental but we are unsure of the best areas. We will be working in Xativa and would like to live within 40km max. Ideally we would like a 3+ bedroomed house with a garden (essential as we have a dog). We would like to be within 15/20mins of the sea and live somewhere there are lots of places to eat! Areas we have been looking at are Gandia and Oliva but would love some guidance and recommendations! What are the nice areas?

Hi there, I am a business consultant, perhaps need to mention a single lady in my 30s, required to move to the Eastern province as I am specialise in the oil&gas. Could you advise the best compounds to stay in terms of safety, profile and facilities? What about the differences between Al Khobar and Dammam? Technically, both locations would be suitable for me. I am very sociable person and need to have some kind of life bearing in mind the challenges in Saudi Arabia. I am aware of the situation in the compounds in Riyadh but have no idea about the Eastern province.
