Hi there

I'm moving to Philadelphia in the next few months and was wondering about the procedures for renting there. How do utilities and things work? I heard the city has problems with crime- are there any areas that could be recommended?

Thanks for the help with public transport, looks like I won't need a car.

Greetings! I'm living in Dammam, KSA and planning to visit Bahrain soon. I have Iqama already but it's single re-entry only. As I could hear there's multiple re-entry visa with 500 Riyals, I'm looking for a way to apply for. Is it possible to do it by myself? Then, how to do?

Hello everyone! I'm a ballet teacher and I would like to send some proposal to some of the big schools in oman. ballet is an after school activity, an extra corricular activity.

If one school agreed to partner with me, what kind of visa are they giving? can I still offer ballet in other schools? because normally ballet classes in one after school activity will last only for one to 2 hours. that is why I want to offer =it to other schools.

If they give me employment visa, can I still offer classes to other schools? please let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

Hi there,

Planning on moving to Seattle in 2014 to build my career in IT. I was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on getting around in the city.

I am from London where I've spent all my life using public transport and doing a bit of cycling from time to time. I know Americans love to drive, but how necessary will it be for me to have my own car in Seattle ?

Cheers,

Jonny

I would like to know if this is a good salary in South Africa, and how much it would be per month after taxes. Is this salary will be enough to rent an appartment and live correctly in Johannesburg? Thanks for your help.

Private schools in Sydney

Could someone please advise on the best private schools/colleges in Sydney. We are going to live in Sydney in September and need to enroll our 17 year old daughter for the start of the next term. She has completed her A's level and would be completing her A levels in September if still in the UK. We believe she may have to step back a year to do her HSC level in Australia. Is there any international schools which would enable her to finish her final year of A level, as she would prefer to do this. We have little knowledge of the area so would appreciate any feedback.

I am heading to Abuja this month until December. Here in NYC Crossfit keeps me healthy - and even more importantly SANE! I am wondering if there are folks who participate in Crossfit style work outs there. All of the gyms boast machines for use - however I am looking for some space, kettle bells, rower, squat rack, etc... Any tips or good spots to hit will be greatly appreciated! Thanks - ML

Hi there,

My husband and I are planning on moving to Ottawa early in 2014. We are from the UK and trying to research schools in the city. I see there are a lot of biligual schools but not many international schools the follow the British national curriculum . My children are aged 8 and 11 so we want them to settle into life in Canada with as little stress as possible. I am just concerned because neither of them have studied French before.

I'm so confused about the different areas in Atlanta and where would be the best place to live. I'm going to be working in Midtown Atlanta. I hear the traffic in Atlanta is pretty bad. Where is the best place to live in Atlanta close to Midtown and within easy reach of public transport - I definitely don't want to be driving into town!
