I've been working in Malaysia from last year on a work permit and my spouse and children have dependent visa till 2016. I do have a plan to change job in next couple of months after getting release letter and new work permit from second employer. Here I wanted to confirm that the dependent visa of my spouse and children would expire or not if I'll be able to get new work permit smoothly without leaving Malaysia? Thanks for your help!

Your new employer will sponsor dependent pass for your wife and son by cancelling existing pass. If not you can do it on your own. It will cost you RM1000 for both of them.
