Carrefour is NOT a discount store! Lulu is probably the closest thing that you are looking for. However, there are many stores here where you can get cheap stuff. Dasio in Hyatt Plaza above Home Center. Rawnaq is on C-Ring across from Al Ahli Hospital, or they also have a shop around the fabric souq. If you really want really cheap stuff from China, there is a shop behind the Popeye's (C-ring & Salwa Road), sorry I don't know the name of it. There are many places in the Najma souq that have cheap stuff from India. Some of the stuff is actually decent quality. There is also an LG store there for appliances, which is usually cheaper than Lulu. I hope this is not too late for you! There are many FaceBook pages that advertise places that are having sales.
