We're planning on staying in Ireland and England for about six months. Would it make sense to have a bank account that had local branches? We were thinking about getting an account with HSBC so it's a US account with worldwide branches. I see that there's plenty of HSBC branches in the UK but not so much Ireland. Suggestions?
