Is yellow slip from previous Saudi employer valid?

My husband has got an yellow slip from current employer 2 weeks back . Now he Wants to change his company within Saudi . Is that yellow slip valid ? How much days is the validity of yellow slip ? Is it necessary that he shud apply for new yellow slip from new employer .?

What do you mean by yellow slip? As a Saudi, I know that if you want to change the sponsorship from one company to another you just need a written paper. Let me know exactly what do you mean with this slip.
