I have been with in this life partner visa process for about 7 months now, my lady is from Taiwan and I am a South African citizen. I have collected a document from home affairs stating that they will be visiting my house to probably come and see if my lady and I are really residing there which is totally fine. I have also been asked to be interviewed with her at home affairs and I was just wondering out of curiosity what kind of questions will be asked during this interview? Thanks Juan

Hi Juan,

Unfortunatley, when I applied they did not do a visit or interview me. I simply had to provide 3 letters letters from family and friends stating that the relationship was genuine, provide proof of shared finances in the form of a bank statement and a joint rental contract.

I assume they will be asking you more details about the nature of the relationship just to ascertain if it is genuine.

Sorry, I can't give more insight but I think this is somewhat of a new process.
