I am looking at relocating to Spain. I originally lived and worked there 17 years ago and have my NIE number. Is that still valid? Do you need to have residency in spain if you want to buy a property there.I hold dual citizenship for Australia and UK but have worked overseas for many years and I would still possibly be working overseas even though I wish to buy a property there. What is the correct way to go about this. Many thanks and much appreciate any advice : )

Hi Nicola, No you do not need to be a resident in order to purchase a property in Spain. However things you need to consider, is location, type of property, on going costs of maintaining, the property, tax liabilities as a Non resident. If you would like more info, please contact me and we can arrange a free 15mins Skype consultation.
