HI, I would like to visit Qatar. I'm considering to make just a short visit - two or three days and then fly to Malaysia. Since the Czech Republic from which I'm comming from, is not on the list of countries which can apply for tourist visa on arrivai, I need to ask hotel to be my sponsor. The question is: is there any list of hotels which are authorized to be a sponsor and apply for visa on behalf of me? Thank you in advance for your answer. Hana

The tourist visa section on Hukoomi, Qatari government website, gives a list of hotels that can act as your sponsor. According to the site, you can also arrange a visa through your nearest Qatari embassy. Unfortunately, the closest embassy that serves the Czech Republic is in Budapest, so it looks like you may have to go the hotel route, but you can direct any further enquiries you may have to [email protected]
Also, have a look at our Visas for Qatar page, which summarises what you'll need for a tourist visa for Qatar.
Good luck!

You should consult the Hukoomi site to see where your nearest Qatari consulate is. As there is no consulate in Afghanisatan, your tourist visa may take little longer to process, just bear this in mind.
Read the Visas for Qatar page for more info.
