Hi Adeel,

Being from Pakistan you are able to travel to Qatar and receive a 14 day visa on arrival. Subsequently this visa can be renewed for a futher 14 days at a cost of QAR 100. This is simply a tourist visa and simply allows you entry into the country but no rights to take up employement.

For more information on visas please see the Expat Arrivals Visas for Qatar page.

As 28 days is not much time to find and secure a job, it would be good for you to do your research and possibly apply for some jobs beforehand. Before accepting a job be sure that the position is suitable as the work permit system in Qatar offers expats very little flexibility and you'll find it hard to change positions.

Have a read of this page on Working in Qatar for useful information on the job market in Qatar and some tips on finding and securing the right job.

Good luck with the job hunt.
