I am considering going to China to live with my prospective mate. I will not be going to work there, just going there to live with her. She is a doctor with her own home. The city is Zhuzhou. I cannot find a visa to match what I want to do. Tourist is not long enough since I am moving there permanently if I do go. Also, since I am retired and will not be working, I wouldn't use a Work or Business visa? Also, I am on government pension through the VA and Social Security Disability. I understand I will not be able to transfer those income sources but it is needed to maintain my current residence in the US anyway. Just bought a new home last July and hadn't planned on moving to China at the time. As I said, she is a doctor and makes good money, and owns her own home, so it really isn't an issue between us. Not sure how China will view me coming there under those circumstances. Can anyone give me any ideas Please? God Bless You All and may you have a healthy and prosperous New Year.
