How to change technician visa to engineer visa in Saudi Arabia???

Please find my query : I have been selected as an Sr Engineer (mechanical) in 1 of the Engineering company in Saudi Arabia. But the HR people are telling that they will give me technician visa initially and will change to Engineer Visa after arrival at Saudi Arabia. I am worried that is it possible or not? I came to know that If someone came to KSA on technician visa they may have to face somany problems like family status will not get easily, visiting to near countries is not possible. 1)Please reply me what are the disadvatages if I come on Technician Visa ? 2) Howmuch time it will take to convert technician visa to Engineer Visa? What is the procedure and related issues? Awaiting your response? Regards

HI i am an engineer, i got an offer from a company in Saubi, as an engineer. But they are telling they will provide me technician visa not engineer visa please help me in knowing any problems/difficulties Thanks

ASK your sponsor to get a new visa as engineer. I got the same issue but the Saudi embassy reviewed my degree certificate and Proposed to apply for Engineer Visa.. Saudi Consulate controls this activity.. Regards Murali
