Need guidance regarding Johannesburg

Hi, I'm planning to move to Johannesburg. I've a few questions in my mind. 1. Apart from Lenasia, Where are the other Indian settlement? I believe it takes around an hour each way to drive from Lenasia to Sandton. I would like to stay near to my workplace which is safe for expats and in general. Any recommended area? 2. Approximate rent of a 2 bedroom apartment (furnished/unfurnished) in the recommended area and its associated utilities bill. I'm looking for an apartment in a safe well secured complex. 3. Cost of comprehensive medical insurance for my wife and myself covering private hospitals 4. Cost of car(hatch back with central locking system) rental. 5. I do not drive here in India but have a valid driving license. So may need to learn driving there and apply for an internal driving license. Any recommended driving school and associated cost. 6. Average salary considering the employer does not pay for medical insurance, car and accommodation? 7. Most importantly security; How bad is it really? xenophobic attacks have made lot of news. Is it affecting the Indian community there? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
