Documents for bringing my car to Ireland from England?

Hi everyone, I have recently moved to Conna in Cork, and drove my car here. As yet I have not secured a job so don't have a pps number. Do I need to send my car reg document ( log book ) back to U.K. with my new address on it, and also the part about exporting the vehicle, does that have to be filled in and sent as well. And how do I get my Irish number plates without a pps number. Thanks in advance Jan
