Can I live with my girlfriend in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia?

Hello, I have been offered a position in Saudi Arabia and it’s a good opportunity but want to know given recent changes can I move there with my girlfriend (unmarried)? I can see we can stay in a hotel room but I am looking more long term. Any links would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and assistance

Hi Craig_Jervis, congratulations on the job offer! Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, unmarried couples cannot live together in Saudi Arabia, apart from staying together in a hotel. No. Not at all. I lived in UAE for 18 years (Saudi's neighbour) and it used to be like that in UAE, but now they turn a blind eye but in Saudi they are super extremely strict.
