I have been offered a job in the Kowloon area of Hong Kong. Since I will be working there, is it recommended I live there? I am a young (or at least I think so), single Australian with a charming personality ;), and I love a good party!

Living in Kowloon is okay, but if you're a dancing queen or a tequila tank, you'd probably do better living somewhere in Central Hong Kong Island and commuting to Kowloon for work. All the best nightlife is in Central, specifically near the Mid-Levels area.

The good news is that the MTR stops at the Olypmic station in Kowloon, which makes for roughly a 30-minute commute, so it would be easy to get to and from work. This means your rent will probably be more expensive, so the decision may also depend on what kind of salary you're making.
