Wanna move to China and find a job - help?

Hi everyone, I am Huy and come from Vietnam. I have some reasons and really wanna move to China. However, I have some problems to move there: little money,no high level diploma, only over one year experience,... I really wanna move to there for several years, so please give some advice. Thanks.

I currently live in China. You will need a letter of invitation for a visa and will need to justify your purpose for being here. Where do you want to live in China? Perhaps consider going to university in Beijing, or a small city like Qingdao? It will give the ability to contribute and then find a job here....

As Anonymous has pointed out, you will need to justify your move to to China to the authorities to get a visa. One way is to first find a job (from overseas - see online job sites for postings and apply online) and get a work visa through your employer in China. Huy, as you have no higher qualifications, this might be more difficult for you. A good option would be to study further in China. Every year, over 100,000 students travel to China to study at Chinese tertiary education facilities. You will need to apply directly to one of these and then, if accepted, apply for a study visa.

Can you please give me some advice how to find a job in China.

I have some important reasons for me to move there. On these days, I have been trying to find a job there. However, it is not easy for me.

I really wanna move there soon. I have no chance to start study in China as someone said above, because I have no money to do that. I must try by myself, without any support here.

Hi Huy

Anybody applying for a job in another country is competing against people applying for those same jobs within their own country. So you'll have to think carefully about your skills and what makes you stand out from the crowd.

Also, if you are in sales, you will probably need to be fluent in Mandarin to compete. Do you speak other languages? Perhaps if you are multi-lingual (for example) that will count in your favour.

Have you tried to approach Chinese/international recruitment companies?
