For accomdation, under 15K, you can consider living in village house, since they are bigger, usually around 650 sq. ft., 3 bedrooms, and with greenery surrounding. Home location (availability school near your home location) is the most important given your situation and budget. It is easier to commute as an adult rather than a 5year old kid. Keep that in mind. To be honest, it's most likely that you won't get a place for Sept 2015 at this stage. What we'd suggest is to secure a K3 place (suitable for 5 year olds) and get prepared to submit applications in Sept 2015 for a Sept 2016 start.

Schools in HK are expensive too!
