Yes it is very safe to move to Lagos. Especially if you live in the right locations such as Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, Ilupeju, Ikeja Like any major city in the world, you need to be sharp. If you feel you'll be safe in Paris, you'll definitely be safe in Lagos. Lagos has its fair share of cool / posh and not-so cool spaces and a moderate mix of both. There's Uber for moving around easily, you can order food from Lagos restaurants (search for OFADAA online) and everything else online. You can easily hook up with other expats in places like Bottles and MegaPlaza. Night life in lagos is bursting and those that like it will find it interesting. Visit the New Fela shrine to listen to Afro beat or make sure to stop by the suya spot at Obalende. Like NYC, Lagos never sleeps
