Hello, I am Malay from India. I am offered Job in KL-Malaysia with Gross salary of USD 2500/- Per month. Kindly advise whether it should be accepted and what would be cost of living, Cost of 1 bedded Rented House. I am planning to take my wife with me? What will be cost per month?

Hi camalamaniyer,

You might find it hard to live on USD 2500, which equates to about RM 8,000. A one bed place outside Kuala Lumpur will cost you around RM 4000. If you want to live in the CBD it will cost you more. You will also need to budget around 500 for utilities. Luckily food is not to expensive, especially if you choose to eat local produce.
