Our family is hoping to relocate to Spain for the 2017-2018 academic year with a 9 year old and a 5 year old. Since we will only be there for one year, we want them to learn as much Spanish as possible at school. Sending them to a public school sounds almost impossible since we won't know where we'll be living until the fall. The private schools I've found online seem to teach primarily in English. Can you recommend a good public school downtown that mainly teaches in Spanish?

Hi Hilary,

I'm sure you'll be able to find a decent Spanish private school in Madrid.

Which curriculum are you looking for your kids to follow? Spanish one?

Read Education and Schools in Madrid for some background.
