Hi, am asking on behalf of a friend who is a Taiwanese and would like to school his children in Brisbane, Australia. However, it seems difficult to find a school in Brisbane that is able to take in both his son and daughter in the same school. Is there any avenue and source which he can work on to realise this, or any recommendation/criteria to work on, e.g. recommendation from association, help groups, etc.
Followings are his request/info:
1. Co-Ed Gender.
2. year levels: elementary to Year 12
3. religion: non-Denominational
4. Not to many Chinese students and lots of opportunity to interact in English.
Appreciate any help rendered.

Hi Samwil,
Finding a co-ed school should not be too difficult in Brisbane and most co-ed schools would be able to accommodate siblings, dependent on headcount availability.
In Brisbane the state school's which children attend are generally dictated by the area in which they live. These are called school catchments zones. The Queensland government includes an education map for Brisbane so you will be able to see the school catchment areas and state schools applicable for same. See here: https://www.qgso.qld.gov.au/maps/edmap/
Separately, they also have a listing of both state and non-state schools with contact details and locations. See here: https://schoolsdirectory.eq.edu.au/
Hope this is helpful!
